Introducing The ‘Peace Meal’

Lessons & Traditions: Road Trip Style

For the first two weeks of our trip, we didn’t have any refrigeration in our Airstream trailer. We relied on coolers to keep our perishables chilled. While using the coolers wasn’t so bad, it did make meal planning more of a chore than ever.

Teaching moment: Driving through the plains of Oklahoma without that crucial “modern conveniences” had me thinking about the first settlers in that area. Those brave men and women roughed it without so much as ice. I wondered what they

Finding The Good

Finding The Good

We’ve just started our cross-country trek, but we’re already experiencing — and learning — so much.

For instance, Marshall cut through a tendon on his thumb and had to have it surgically repaired. He now sports a soft cast all the way up to his elbow and covering all but his ring and pinky finger. The cast is soft, but it’s also large and bulky.

“Snack Wars”

Encouraging Kids to Get Into The Kitchen

We really want to encourage kids to get into the kitchen, get creative, learn about food, flavor, fuel, nutrition and have fun while doing all that. We came up with a challenge called “Snack Wars” where kids have 12 minutes to create a healthy after school snack in our mock kitchen. We have had a blast doing this AND it means so much to hear kids afterwards asking their parents if they can cook them dinner or breakfast the next day. Contact us about organizing a “Snack Wars” event in your

Passionate About Passion

What is Your Passion?

For us passion is what compels us to look within ourselves and reach out to others. But what is our passion? The desire to redirect our thinking into one that views our bodies with respect and consequently treats our body with that respect. To not abuse, deny or weaken our vessels and to look forward to our future.   What is your passion? How will you foster it? Grow it? Come share with us!
